THE MHP METHOD & OPERATING SYSTEM

The MHP Method

A structured coaching system designed to develop athletes technically, physically, mentally and morally.

Most gyms are a collection of training sessions. MHP CLUB is a system.

The MHP Method is the product of years of coaching on the mat and the study of training science and sports management — an operating system that everything in the club runs on, from a child's first session to a senior wrestler's competition camp.

Nothing is left to chance: every athlete is assessed, programmed, measured and reviewed. And the coach — like the athlete — grows and is evaluated too.

10 PILLARS

The ten pillars of the MHP Method

  1. 01

    WRESTLING TECHNIQUE

    Wrestling Technique

Skills taught step by step to a technical standard — par terre to neutral — matched to age and level.

  2. 02

    STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

    Strength & Conditioning

Strength, power and conditioning specific to wrestling and combat sport — not a generic gym plan.

  3. 03

    ATHLETE DISCIPLINE

    Athlete Discipline

Attendance, training etiquette, personal responsibility. Discipline underwrites all progress.

  4. 04

    LONG-TERM ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT

    Long-Term Athlete Development

Multi-year planning matched to growth stages. Championships are not built in a hurry.

  5. 05

    RECOVERY & INJURY PREVENTION

    Recovery & Injury Prevention

Sleep, nutrition, massage and corrective work — part of training, not an afterthought.

  6. 06

    COMPETITION PREPARATION

    Competition Preparation

Season planning, weight management, match simulation and fight-day readiness.

  7. 07

    COACH EVALUATION

    Coach Evaluation

Coaching quality is measured too. Continuous education of the coaching team is built into the system.

  8. 08

    PARENT COMMUNICATION

    Parent Communication

Regular progress reports and direct conversations about your child's pathway.

  9. 09

    CLUB CULTURE

    Club Culture

Respect, effort and the chivalrous camaraderie of wrestling — an environment where growth is natural.

  10. 10

    DATA-INFORMED PROGRESS

    Data-Informed Progress

Tests and training trends are recorded; decisions are made on data, not guesswork.

THE LOOP

The MHP Loop

This cycle repeats for every athlete, every season:

1

Assess

Technical, physical and movement testing; know the starting point.

2

Program

An individual plan built on goal, age and level.

3

Train & measure

Coached execution with progress recorded.

4

Review & upgrade

Analyze results and update the pathway for the next season.

A system means no talent goes to waste.

Every champion once started with one simple decision. A short consult will find the right pathway for you — or your child.
